Actuarial Science & Software Development
I am a BCom Actuarial Science student at Stellenbosch University with a strong focus on data, macroeconomics, and automated systems. Alongside my academic work, I am a self-taught developer building data-driven e-commerce applications and managing international trade workflows.
Developed a production-level pipeline utilizing multimodal embeddings to match international product catalogs, streamlining the import process for regional platforms like Takealot.
Designed and built front-end interfaces, including a multi-page mock university website for the Developer Society hackathon.
When I'm not studying or optimizing code, I rely on data to optimize my downtime. You'll usually find me analyzing launch data to perfect my golf swing, using wearable tech to track my marathon training recovery, or planning my next trip to the Orange River.
